I hope I’m wrong. Looking at US/Russia interactions and the US strategic view of Europe (not white enough) I can see an unfolding of their vision for a fascist white northern hemisphere. Russia and US administration aims and methods pretty aligned and there’s only the Bering Strait between them.

Just an add on to my concerns about judges (recommended by the JAC who are appointed by the Lord Chancellor) “The Lord Chancellor in the UK is appointed by the sovereign on the advice of the Prime Minister. Currently, David Lammy has been appointed as the Lord Chancellor” No politics here then.

Why is it so hard to understand that if the NHS costs, say, £100 billion a year, you need £100 billion in tax to pay for it. If you don’t want to take that tax for it you can’t have it. That means users have to pay at point of service. That works SO well in the US.

It’s funny - every time I post on here a bit I get followed by someone who’s never posted anything and whose photo is of a young woman with not many clothes on. Clearly a scam coz the “ Are you on WhatsApp” messages then arrive. I just can’t work out what they want. If it’s money - no chance!

Just realized that charity shops are the new Blockbusters. I find myself going in and getting a couple of DVDs for less than £2 each (benefit to charity as well), then when I’ve watched them I return them to the shop (just like Blockbuster). Someone else can then enjoy them and also support charity

Anyone remember the Cunningham amendment in 1979? It was the first Scottish Devolution referendum. Cunningham got in that 40% OF THOSE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE had to vote Yes. As a result a majority vote wasn’t carried. Should this not have been applied as a precedent at the EU referendum?

This was interesting in the light of recent “speech” The UN estimates there 281 million migrants in the world. 110 million are forcibly displaced. 36.4 million are classed as refugees, 6.1 million are seeking asylum. 69% of refugees are in the country neighbouring their own, hoping to return.
