Today is the birthday of writer & magician Walter B. Gibson (Sept. 12, 1897-Dec. 6, 1985). The Shadow started as the name of a mysterious narrator on the Detective Story Hour radio show, but it was Gibson who developed him into the character we now know in The Shadow magazine.

I understand a lot of people don't want any more Marvel superhero movies. That's cool. I do. I shared a lot of the MCU movies with my dad and I love them. I don't care if you're sick of them or they don't make sense to you. There are plenty of theaters in the multiplex.
