Here's my take on the sauerkraut thing: The entire White House already lives in the haze of his diaper and diet. When it comes to farts, most everyone can tolerate (even enjoy) our own particular stink. Sauerkraut as nasal ammo. The health benefit is a big one: they get to keep breathing.
