I believe I'm caught up on all follow requests. THAT SAID, @trezy.codes wanted me to let people know about this link, which looks to be an automated gamedev feed. I'll let Trezy explain how it works. bsky.app/profile/ozon...

All follow requests have been granted. That said, is anyone building a game dev starter pack that will obviate this account?

(Thread) Greetings and salutations! It's been a while since we had people signing up in big numbers on Blue Sky so I stopped checking this account. My mistake - we had a HUGE number of new users in the last week, probably due to Elmo being Elmo again on the hellsite.

I believe that all pending join requests have been fulfilled. If you have not been added and think you should be, ponder upon what you have done and whether or not you have been appropriately reverent to my awesome status and power. Or just shoot me an '@', I probably just missed it.

Believe I'm all caught up on invite requests. If you think I should be following you and I'm not, you'll need to send up a(nother) signal flare.

Wow, what a busy day! I'll probably be offline and might not add anyone else until the morning. That said, I think I'm all caught up. So if I'm not following you and you think I should be, send me a signal flare. This is an imperfect system and sometimes people fall through the cracks.

Now that BlueSky is kicking open the doors to the world, you might want to remind your followers I exist to help the game dev community find itself. I am an account that simply follows other game devs. Search my follows for accts you might be interested in. And @ me if you want me to follow you.

I've been a little lax checking this account the last couple of weeks - Christmas and all - but I think I've caught up with all incoming follow requests. If you think that I should be following you and I didn't respond to a previous request, please send up another signal flare (which means @ me).

Sorry there was a little backlog there. I had to leave town for a work event. I believe that I am caught up on all pending invites now, so if I missed you, send up a new signal flare.

MILESTONE UPDATE: We appear to have surpassed 1.1K members! This might be a good time to go through my followers list and see if there's anyone new you want to follow. It's in chronological order, so the new people should sort to the top!

FYI, I don't check unfollows or refollows - it's just a terrible UI. If you want me to follow you and add me to the list, simply post a message asking me to do so by handle (I.e. say something like "add me to the list, oh wonderful and glorious @gamedevlist.bsky.social ")

Just as an FYI, and in no way meaning to pick on this fine developer, but the process of weeding through requests is not perfect and sometimes people slip through. Also, I tend to only check about twice a day, so if it hasn't been long, be patient and if it's been 24 hours+, bug me again! Thanks!

We're up to 750 accounts on the list. 1) Click my followers feed to see the list. 2) Be sure your bio is up to date. Also, everyone should follow @trezy.codes who has been shepherding improving tools, feeds, ant other things to help the community take off. We're doing what we can!

Howdy gang. People keep asking if QA, composers, producers, game media or esports people are welcome on the list. Of course. I do very little actual gatekeeping for the list - I'm most likely going to return your request, and only kick you off if you're disruptive or a spammer. 1/2

Just pushed a big update to both of my Game Dev feeds, What's Hot and New + Rising! The goal of the update is to make both feeds more lively, and below I'll include a brief changelist of how I went about doing that. If you haven't tried either out yet, today's a great time! #GameDev #FeedUpdate

Just a reminder, me adding you to the list of Game Devs (this accounts followers) won't make your feed richer innately. You still need to do the work of going through my followers and deciding who you want to follow.

Just as a note, I believe I have added all incoming requests to be added. If somehow you've been missed, be loud about it, this process is not perfect (but way, way better than the janky way I was doing it before). Everyone follow each other and let's make a cluster appear on the graph.

Not trying to actively call out this well-meaning person here, but if future people want to present lists of people to add like below, it's helpful to put the '@' sign before the tags. I am very lazy, so making maintaining this list easy helps!
