So, some things I have enjoyed lately! First and foremost, having a cat in the house. We can't really have our own bc allergies, but I love having a furry guy around at least for short stints, especially as he's mellowed out and is way more snuggly these days
Grey cat with a small white breast patch chilling on a couch cushion. His little pink tongue is out and one of his ears is being scritched, so he's cocked his head to one side and has one eye closed, like he's giving a mischievous wink

I personally think we should be moving toward paying artists to make replicas of many art objects for purposes of repatriation, but accessibility is another great reason to have touchable art objects.

Updated my autumn mask chain from all pumpkins to a more diverse set! Not sure yet if I like the combo of solid colours and mixed ones, maybe I'll replace the leaf with something smaller and darker? But I'll wear it for a bit before deciding

Today looking up details to correctly cite a scholar I found she's also made some art. #DHMakes This is Interference Pattern II by Frances Rothwell Hughes. She started each square when she had time to embroider and stopped when interrupted by her newborn www.francesrothwellhughes.com/interference...
Detail of textile artwork, showing 6 by 4 squares. Each square shows the same pattern in different stages of completion, ranging from dashes, to diamonds, to a complex geometric pattern filling the entire square.Framed textile artwork consisting of 4 rows of 25 squares.
