All you've done by dumping them at a farm is force the farmer to become the witness to your cat dying. You get to pretend that your pet is living an idyllic life catching mice in a little red barn, while the farmer gets to watch as yet another unwanted dumped cat inevitably vanishes from their farm.

Your house cat cannot just adapt to barn cat life. They will starve, or get trampled by livestock, or get got by coyotes, or wither away from parasites, or a myriad of other injuries will just pile up until they die abandoned and in pain.

Hey, I get that rehoming cats can be difficult, but don't just dump them at a nearby farm. These guys are lucky that I have the time and network to find homes for them, but the usual outcome here is a slow and painful death.

also I think the rind would be a great addition to a soup or maybe a cream sauce, a la parm rinds. I hate the idea of any part of my sucessful cheeses being a total waste, so finding things customers can use the rind for is important for my own peace of mind.

thinking a ground rosemary initial coat to prevent the Pigpen-esque shedding in the cave, and then a fresh rosemary coating for final sale for that pretty pretty green, also need to up the salt level (as expected)

chunk of experimental cabra al romero I started back in May, great texture and flavor (esp for rosemary sluts) but the rind is inedible. it sold *really* well at market so now I gotta figure out how to perfect this make process bc I hated making this first time

life cycle of an experimental goat's milk P. camemberti cheese, ~5 weeks from birth to death

naked cheeses, freshly unmolded and in a cheese cave

fully fuzzed cheeses, the penicillium fungal rind is a soft and delicate velvety-fuzzy texture

the youngest you'd see one of these cheeses in a store, the rind is no longer fuzzy and there is a thin cream line forming around the central paste

this cheese at peak ripeness, the cream line has almost fully consumed the central paste and oozes out of the cheese at room temperature

"hey, you're not doing as much art as usual???" yeag, I did really well at selling goats n then I stumbled thru a series of unfortunate events where I bought a new goat so now I'm acting as a goat midwife bc I can't say no to a single mom (goat) who works two jobs (eating brush and trees)

One of my personal favourites

A screenshot from Dragon Age: Origins. There is an NPC in full plate armour with text above his head that reads *Why do they call it a brothel? There's no broth. Or is there?".

Digital illustration - a cute little tabby cat in a blue dress carries a pole with koinobori (carp streamers) as she walks through a meadow. There are 3 carps: the biggest is navy colored, the medium one is red and the small one is green. It’s a bright, sunny, spring day, the sky is blue with a big fluffy cloud and yellow flowers can be seen scattered on the meadow.

I can vouch! Rob and RW totally visited my soft pretzel stand after this match and totally gossiped about how cool Badger was! I go to a different school btw, way far off from y'all, you've prolly never heard of it.

Fun fact: I am currently drawing a comic about Yoon Suk Yeol's illegal death squad, but all the reference photos are blurry. Then I popped on Bluesky and saw that the ICE squads attacking LA are using the exact same uniforms and equipment, so I used that.

So there are signs that the very unethical autodubbing feature YouTube is rolling out will be opt-out instead of opt-in. Found these on their FAQ pages for it, so please keep an eye on your channels if they ever push the dubbing to be auto-enabled. Keep this shit off.
