I bet this guy brings Miller Lite to parties then takes the good booze while saying "I contributed to the pool!" And his GF is just contemplating her life mistakes that got her there.

Scanning the images puts you into the game... And if you die in that game, you die IRL.

Star Wars very much feels like it just trots out an older character and is like "THIS GUY" and I felt like the series expected me to know them. Great example is the big Ashoka Thrawn moment. Instead of building him up in Mando, they have Ashoka cameo, name drop him and.... That's it.

I think the main difference with the MCU is that a lot of the plot points that matter from previous films are diegeticly explained in their films. Didn't watch WandaVision? There's a 2 or 3 sentence explanation of one character to another in Strange 2 as to what happened.

Yeah Mando after that point became WAY to reliant on Clone Wars characters+plots and I just completely checked out after that. Andor did everything it tried to but better.

I'm genuinely concerned about what the price will be on the next "Stock Up" type card that drops. Stock Up crept up to nearly $15 at one point. How does removing about 1 uncommon per pack affect scarcity? Does it hit $20? Genuine concerns I have here.

Watched Backrooms last night. It would be my favorite horror movie directorial debut by a 20 year old who got his start on YouTube doing weird little videos this year.... but Obsession came out this year as well. As much as I loved the Backrooms mythos, Obsession was a MUCH better movie.

You know what is sick about this lair drop? Not a single Arcane Signet or Sol Ring reprint in the lot! All these cards are straight up playable in a multitude of decks, and a lot of them have comp applications! This is how you lair!

As someone who jokes that his favorite anime is "King of the Hill", I absolutely LOVE what @affinityforanime.bsky.social does with these alters. I have no idea what half of these shows are, but the art is always SO beautiful and I'm sure it's evocative of the source material.

We're getting Marvel Zombies. I'll stake my non-existent career on it.

It could be fine in a self mill deck, but it would be much better in a meta that had Battle of Wits in it. Remember: Feldon's Cane is legal so self milling Approaches on a 200+ card deck would be an Alt win con. WotC just doesn't want us to have Wits fun anymore though it would appear.

The Emma Frost x Miss Piggy comic has hit the internet and it's so, so, so much more magnificent than I ever could have hoped for

Emma Frost: "Emma Frost, darling. I'm a telepath. May I read your mind to ascertain if you're telling the truth?"

Miss Piggy: "But of course, darling I am an open book, a tell-all memoir."

Emma Frost telepathically witnessing the entirety of Miss Piggy's life.

Wolverine: "Frost? She legit?"
Emma Frost: "She's..She's... She's everything. And I would die for her."

Oh, so it is. The point is fuck anyone who beats up on people they see as smaller than them. That's cowardly ass behavior and those people are the crux of what is wrong with society.
