Watched Backrooms last night. It would be my favorite horror movie directorial debut by a 20 year old who got his start on YouTube doing weird little videos this year.... but Obsession came out this year as well. As much as I loved the Backrooms mythos, Obsession was a MUCH better movie.

You know what is sick about this lair drop? Not a single Arcane Signet or Sol Ring reprint in the lot! All these cards are straight up playable in a multitude of decks, and a lot of them have comp applications! This is how you lair!

As someone who jokes that his favorite anime is "King of the Hill", I absolutely LOVE what @affinityforanime.bsky.social does with these alters. I have no idea what half of these shows are, but the art is always SO beautiful and I'm sure it's evocative of the source material.

This is my favorite flavor text in all of FRA. Why? I worked as an Application Administrator for years. When something would happen to the app, it was easy to identify when aberrant data was affecting the result. You know what wasn't easy? Proving the ABSENCE of data was what the problem was.

It was right there and they fucked up way harder than they should have. This would have had story relevance, nostalgia, and would have been a great way to bring in older format players who wanted, say a text less version of this card. The amount this bag was fumbled is frankly insane.

Marley started showing signs late Tuesday night that something wasn't right. Wednesday he was non stop vomitting. We brought him to the vet, they informed us he had an aggressive inoperable cancer. Yesterday was one of the most difficult days of my life. Goodbye Marley. You will be loved forever.
