Personally I do not want anything to do with professionally capable and Now Known Rapist Geller anymore and think the absolute best thing he can do for his "retribution"/"rehabilitation" is to simply not be online anymore, accept that he broke a lot of people's trust, and find another job

Remember when Crunchyroll tried to make their subtitles significantly worse a year ago? They backtracked on it at the time, but I suspected they were just delaying their plans to shift from Aegisub to OOONA, and sadly, it seems I was right: Crunchyroll is actively pushing OOONA subs to users now.

These new OOONA subs are not as catastrophically bad as the fully Netflix-compatible subs Crunchyroll was serving to users a year ago, but they still represent a significant downgrade in especially typesetting quality. Numpad notation positioning only, with no colors used. Plus issues like this too.

Dude, this is genuinely so fucking disappointing. Nearly all of the commits I’ve seen for PPSSPP involve generative AI from Claude in the past week alone, and their entire newest dev blog is almost entirely written by Claude. Almost half of the commits in the past 3 months use Claude for AI code.
