I have a class 3 e-bike and the only time I do 25+ mph is when I have to ride on an arterial street with traffic going the same speed. On protected bike lanes and multi-use trails, 12-15 feels much better.

Towed my daughter’s new bike down to Seward Park so she can practice riding along Lake Washington Blvd without any cars. These weekends are so amazing for kids that are just learning to ride.

My 8 year old daughter dislikes him quite a bit. The ways that Trump is a bad man are easily observed — he’s a bully, he lies, he helps only his friends and he blames others for his mistakes. Kids aren’t dumb and reach their own conclusions.

Rode the full length of the Centennial Trail today, from Snohomish to the Nakashima barn past Arlington. 60 miles round trip. Washington is beautiful.

So, I saw this pop up on the NW corner of Jackson and 25th Ave, which is an intersection of a busy neighborhood arterial and a healthy street. While I’m a big fan of bike parking and daylighting, the placement here makes it impossible to hit the crossing lights. Good intentions, bad execution?
