people do not understand how much work comics are 🫠 publishers need to expect less and hire more people for one thing people comicking for the love of the game need to expect less from ourselves and even reign ourselves in sometimes

I'm also going to release the personal space patreon exclusive episodes next week (on webtoon, begrudgingly) as they're completely unreadable as it stands.

Hi! Forgot to mention, cause tapas is dying I've pulled Plundercats and Personal Space from there. They're still up on webtoon and namicomi, though. I hope to self-host them eventually so they don't get lost, but because they're both over, and demand is likely low, it's not a priority.

A plundercats (webcomic) panel of Enno Arey (anthropomorphic lynx girl mechanic, right) sitting and Kubarette 'Kuba' Sanika (beagle pilot) laying on a bed looking at a magazine filled with racy pics of mechanics that Enno owns "just for the advertisements".

I miss these two, so bad.

I'm sure some of you have heard that Tapas is shutting down by now. I want to say something about that. When I was 15, I uploaded the first pages of CTC on Tapas. When I dropped out at 19, I was picked up by Tapas to make DPS Only. Now at 26, I wake up to see headlines that Tapas will be no more.

Everyone might want to consider writing down some of the webcomics you read at Tapas so you can possibly track them down later. (For ones you don't know already have alternatives sites, I mean.)

It's just one'a them days, dude. I never really saw any success on there, but it still sucks to see it die 'cause of suits...

Enno Arey, an anthropomorphic lynx mechanic sits, leaning against a tall window, lollipop in mouth.

She looks distraught.

"Tapas is shutting down, dude."

She complains.

Behind, through the window, stars glimmer. Their lights long since having gone out.

Visual example: Let's say it's VERY important that your readers notice a key getting stolen by a mouse. You do NOT want your readers to miss this as it plays a huge role in the plot later. Will some people notice the mouse in the first example? Sure. But EVERYONE will notice in the second.

Two simple cartoon panels both showing one person worriedly asking "have you seen my key?" and the other responding "no, sorry". In the first panel the characters are framed in the foreground and a mouse carrying a key is a smaller element of the background, off to the side. In the second example, the mouse and key are framed in the foreground from a perspective close to the ground, while the two human characters are in the background.

Chapter 2 begins soon! But how soon? On Comicfury, the first two pages will go up on September 18th, and two pages will be posted (almost) every week after. Webtoon and Tapas have a bit longer to wait, the full first episode goes up there on November 6th. I hope you'll enjoy it!

I should really remember to post more anyway here are some pages from my sketchbook, trying to at least do one page a day. #sketchbook #traditionalArt

Four headshots of my cursed souls characters, (cursed souls is one of my original stories)

Top to bottom
Evely- short curly hair, freckles and wing ears

Shire- floating skeleton head, he still has a little bit of hair

Valda- long ears and three sets of small jagged horns

Sherlyn- pointy ears and long horns coming out of their forehead

Early concept for a pirate character,
They got chest length curly hair tired in a low ponytail bangs under their eyes

Early concepts for a pirate character
A lot of hair exploration where I eventually landed on a sorta she shaved it a month ish ago and it’s still holding up, she also has one fang sticking out
