My favorite RSS Reader rn is this one. rssguard.com It is an application that runs on your 'puter. Just the way I like it. If you prefer a web app that you can log into using all your phones and tablets try NewsBlur or Inoreader tho.

rssguard.com

A desktop RSS reader with support for multiple services and formats

RSSGuard is a free and open-source feed reader that supports RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds. It can synchronize with services like Feedly, Inoreader, and Nextcloud News, and runs on Windows, Linux, and mac...

Tapas (Tapastic at the time) was the first place I started hosting LMMATSK over ten years ago. I guess the writing's been on the wall for a while, but I'm still sad to see it go.

With the news of the Tapas shutdown looming, just wanted to create a starter pack full of Tapas creators so you can keep up with them whereever their work lands next. Check them out! Also, if you're affected by the shutdown, comment and I'll add you to the starter pack! go.bsky.app/RYenyUa

Art is a response to the times in which it was made.

Read left to right. Panels from the manga RaiRaiRai where two characters are talking. 1. Muscular woman kneeling on the ground "The world's going to end if we don't do something!" Jesus looking guy. "It won't." 2. Close up of man. "Everything's just going to change." 3. Close of woman, bleeding from the mouth. "... And you're fine with that?! Screw that! It's the same as ever! Countless innocents who have nothing to do with any of this... Are about to suffer the consequences of a handful of assholes cocking everything up!"

I was invited to my neighbour's bbq and baseball. It was sweet of them to include me, and I had a lot of fun, but while I was stealing third, I forgot how to run and completely ate shit. I'm all fucked up, and covered in cuts and scrapes. I'm so embarrassed. 🫠

Since Starter Packs are being brought up again, a reminder that I made a "Horror & Dark Webcomics" pack a while ago. If you make a darker webcomic and want included, let me know! ...Or feel free to opt out if you don't want to be there as well, since that's an option now. XP bsky.app/starter-pack...

So, we need to talk about webtoons(the company) has done to webcomics Over the past 7 or so years, we've seen this absolute shift in expectation, migration, and stagnation in the webcomics sphere which applies to style, sustainability, and the platforms grip on readers and creators

I had a super weird dream that my series LMMATSK was adapted into a movie and shown in select theatres. It was such garbage lol. It didn't actually adapt my story at all. It was a weird blend of animation and live action. My characters were designed to be knock off Disney show characters /1

Jurassic Park was such a huge part of my childhood. Probably the first live action movie to capture my imagination. He is always incredible in every film, and he seemed like a delight off screen. Equivalent exchange can be so unfair.

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
