Wind down sketch, I have some sketches of Hamzah doing martial arts I’d love to get to but until then, here he is in his jujitsu gi! He started training (taekwondo, hapkido) when serving in the military & continued it afterwards (now does mostly Danzan Ryu Jujitsu & cross trains in Pencak Silat).

Officially naming this project "Suns of Suhad". Huge thanks to my friends who helped me w/ the title & typeface design! While I'm still developing the story with the hopes of releasing it as a graphic novel/webcomic, I'll be working on an art book for release this October.Will share more on it soon!

The return of Noor (Hamzah’s niece/cousin’s kid!) First time Yara meets the little cutie and gets a new name LOL. And Hamzah is just over there fighting for his life. Fun fact, Yara is Lebanese, but she greets Noor in Iraqi dialect (shlonich) because that’s what Noor’s familiar with ♥️🇮🇶
