Oh, aforementioned emotions come from reading the manga in middle and high school with my friends and not seeing it again until now, some more-than-20+ years later, and remembering the (intense!) emotions I felt reading the manga and even particular panels 😭🥹🙏

I don't think my Spanish is good enough unfortunately... But I suppose with practice I could do either Japanese or Spanish, eventually, and in the meantime just enjoy the art 🥹 ahhh this series had me in a chokehold. I love Kaori Ozaki 🥹 glad she is still being published in English now!

Lea || frenchpressplz @frenchpressplz.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Due to the Things I Deal With, I decided to let myself splurge a bit and bought myself some manga I've been missing, including Immortal Rain Vol. 5-8! Omg the emotions just from flipping through those volumes 🥹 now I need 9-11, never released in English but available in other languages...

my story THE THAW is now out there for anyone. 5USD / 114pg / 🔞 superpose.itch.io/the-thaw

the cover i illustrated for my story, THE THAW. the story chronicles key moments— as defined by death, abuse, and sex— in the life of field medic Enver Kaychak.

this is a line drawing of a crow, mouth open in a silent shriek, frantically and fearsomely copulating with the dead body of another crow, a phenomenon which occurs in nature and here serves as a description of the potent intrusive thoughts and fantasies of the main character.

Hey! In case anyone is still here: do you have any quick hot tips to help get someone back into art. I desperately want anything to look forward to. In terms of art, I want to have drawn, so I can then color the pictures in... But how do I make the art? How do I restart? Thank you for any tips.
