I straight up saw a denver journalist run a story today highlighting a bus driver running a red on a new BRT middle lane street design. Yet he never highlighted car crashes on the previously poor car centric design. How many deaths on Colfax that were caused by cars. God the state of journalists.

We have designed our whole environment around cars and ppl have no idea how culpable design is. It can influence drivers to seige faster more reckless. But the good thing is design can be used for good!

Can someone help me get what Kate was on about on most recent VFTL re. ‘a shot is worth 0.1 xG and a Spurs shot is worth .07 xG’? This seems like nonsense. A shot is worth different xG values depending on where from and what circumstances. The whole point of xG is a shot doesn’t have uniform value.
