A Noro Rikka warp 😱 in a reed that's too dense for it 😱 (oh my)! The past few days have been about experiments and breaking rules. The rules are often there for very good reasons, but sometimes you have to find out for yourself and decide if they're worth breaking from time to time. #weaving

I'm not quite done sharing these lovely Lincoln locks I picked up during a trip to Kentucky last year. The shop intended them for felting, but look! 🥹

On Monday, I took my trusty (and lightweight) Woolmakers Bliss out to the park for a #spinning date! Finished these singles that I'd been meaning to get around to, listened to the birds, and chatted with some kind folks who stopped for questions/compliments. 10/10 experience really. #handspun

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

When love of weaving collides with love of insects 🐜✨ I’ve been so fascinated by ants with really unique morphology and I wanted to interact with them artistically. I design a pixel image for each ant and then weave them into a teeny tiny overshot band 😊

It's my boyfriend's birthday today!

Really take that to heart though, the “everything has been done before there’s no unique thought.” If you try to avoid doing what someone else has done before, you’re just clipping the wings of your own creations! Finding what’s ~yours~ involves trying out what others have done too! :)
