Keighley's disinterest in excluding AI trailers really devalues the whole thing. These events are rarely to my taste, but the experience of watching "ONL" was one of watching slop. Even non-AI games are tainted by the association — we have to second-guess, every time.

FYI the HUGE number of AI slop at GamesCom's opening night live is not a sign that the industry has normalized AI. It's a ploy to make you believe that. These games are all by the same 3 or 4 publishers. This is a concerted effort to make consumers accept AI.

More people should give Nova Squadron a try when its V.5 comes out for a demo, Clara does a lot of really cool gameplay forward things advised by the loop of her missions and you'll find that NS is probably one of the most consistent feeling of the Acelikes even at this stage
