Saw a lot of this shit at Boston Freedom Rally aka Hempfest. Tons of banners and posters made of slop. There was some dude saying, "CHECK THIS SHIT OUT", loudly over and over, to any passerby, but all he was hawking was AI slop t-shirts and posters.

I worked in IT for a decade, and having given quarterly and monthly presentations to C-suite execs, I can confirm execs are effectively children in that they're prone to hype and FOMO, don't know how little they know, and demand the greatest recognition and rewards for doing as little as possible.

IT job titles are all slop. I've been a "support representative", a "technician", an "engineer", an "analyst", etc. It always boils down to this: they want you to be a customer service rep, a support tech, an account manager, a sysadmin, and a network admin, working at a "fast food" type of pace.

What I mean to say is, it makes total sense to imagine that their lives are devoid of meaning, and they try to find it through things like business clout and expensive vacations. Take that away and they have no identity. Their entire personality is, *straightens tie* "I'm a professional". How sad.

I work in IT and I support IP holdings /real estate /capital mgmt firms. Executives seriously do nothing but email back and forth, zoom call, take vacations, and act important. They can never spell, or remember their passwords. I have many other users that seem competent and actually do real work.
