Reviews on it were mixed, but a lot of souls-heads in the forums swear by Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

All else being equal doesn’t it make sense to build stadiums in places where the population density is greater than 5 people per square mile?

Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

I think 70-80% of the population has non-agriculture related jobs. So it’s not so much that I think those jobs will lack takers. More that it’s small impact, if it even happens at all (many other job “deals” that Trump took credit for fell through)

Also in a state with 3.2 million people, 1700 is a rounding error. As usual it’s likely a case of leaning on a GOP donor CEO to give Trump credit for something that was going to happen regardless of who the president was.

Not a single solitary person who will actually read it. They’ll be bulk bought and given out for free at MAGA events. Maybe Trump loving CEOs will pass them out to their left-leaning employees. I guess you get paid either way, and that’s all that matters

Obama tried ONCE to exclude Fox News from a single interview with the Treasury Secretary and every mainstream news outlet went to bat for them. Unfortunately when it’s a Republican president there are no rules and no norms

The early game is survival and exploration, but after a while it can become a light mining/factory sim, when they introduce drones and auto crafters. Much lower complexity level than, say, Factorio. They change up the gameplay and goals enough to keep it interesting IMO. Not story heavy

The Planet Crafter has pretty chill vibes, it’s like Subnautica on Mars minus the stress of dealing with scary sea creatures.

“I agree with my Republican opponent that the existence of Trans people is a huge problem, but I will not go as far as he will in solving that problem” Do you not see how this is problematic messaging and does nothing to quell the issue?

Instead they try to play act as a bigot and it pisses off both the Dem base AND bigots who know they’re just pandering. If they concede the issue to the bigots it just makes them look weak and spineless. Single issue voters go for the REAL bigot instead, as the weak bigot legitimized the non-issue

Being the lesser of two evils is enough to earn my vote, but I’m not going to gaslight trans people and say they’re wrong about being scapegoated on bullshit issues. I think candidates would do better if they said “I don’t believe in all your dumb bigotry, but I’ll work on your real problems”

Franky Pelvis @frankypelvis.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
Yeah this is more correct than what I said, the status quo and right wing position were in complete alignment at the time. Homosexuality was actively investigated and punished. With trans legislation it’s new government endorsed bigotry based on fictional problems

Franky Pelvis @frankypelvis.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
Don’t ask don’t tell was the moderate position at the time, the right wing alternative was to kick gays out with a dishonorable discharge. With trans bills, Dems are just endorsing the Republican position with no notes.

They are like robots! They have a list of questions prepared by their team, that the President will bluster and bullshit through. To them the job is to just get through those questions, not to give their viewers any insight into how the insane president responds to the slightest pushback

$70 is nuts for sure. And Nintendo are not “wait 2 years for a deep discount” guys. On their website they are STILL selling the original Switch 1 version of Breath of the Wild (9 years old! no DLC!) for $60!

Unfortunately, the remake trailer looks really good to me! Was half expecting a quick cash grab ROM hack with slightly upscaled textures like Nintendo has done before (e.g. Galaxy 1/2, Mario All Stars on the Switch) I don’t have a Switch 2 though(yet)

He’s the president, ignoring him doesn’t change that. I think there’s real value in a “Mad King” narrative. It’s true the more evil directives get less traction in the media than the crazy stuff, but that’s the media environment. “This mf has lost his mind” is not helpful for Rs in the midterms

Picture an Aryan. Are they heavyset? Are they disabled? The image of a handsome strong man capable of physical violence against the slovenly hordes is absolutely essential to the worldview. I don’t think all looks based discrimination is fascist, but all fascism features looks based discrimination.

I’m not arguing against actual physical fitness standards in jobs that require them, but Hegseth is very clearly making an aesthetic argument. A general who can do 500 pushups a day is not more qualified than one who can’t, because that is not part of their job responsibilities.

Franky Pelvis @frankypelvis.bsky.social · 06/09/2026
It’s definitely fascist to push for physical superiority. Pete Hegseth is talking about fat generals, but he’s also firing women and minorities in the upper ranks regardless of fitness. It’s an overall pattern of aesthetic over ability. It’s also conditioning minds to discriminate against disability

The article gives a few examples of what the author considers “real” disabilities and it’s just stuff like missing limbs. Very clear that the author believes if she can’t immediately tell you’re sick, then you’re lying about it.

I’d argue a Democrat has to propose it for it to be labeled a “Democratic Policy” as it is here! Half this chart is Fox News hyperbolic exaggerations. This poll is worthless.

Franky Pelvis @frankypelvis.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Who exactly proposed a 3% middle class tax hike? Which prominent Democrat proposed abolishing prisons? If no one did any of that then this is a push pull.

Franky Pelvis @frankypelvis.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
A lot of pollsters adjust their samples to match the partisan lean of the most recent election, low response rates and response biases pretty much require it. Some make efforts to account for party changes or enthusiasm differences, but will be interesting to see how this shift plays out.

Franky Pelvis @frankypelvis.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
It’s a push poll. Most of the policies on the upper right have not been proposed by any Democrats in power. These orgs rapid fire poll them just to wear down respondents to be wary of everything else. Beyond the abolish prisons stuff, which Democrat actually proposed a 3% middle class tax hike?

Franky Pelvis @frankypelvis.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Yeah at 1.4% counted it’s the responsibile decision not to call it. Many counties are still at 0% counted so it’s not necessarily a representative sample yet. Though Ed Markey being this far ahead is obviously a good sign.
