Ah! There was a rather famous restaurant in Dallas also called Brownie's. It opened in 1945 & was a popular late-night hangout, often used as a tv/film location. It was finally closed in 1996 bc of health/sanitation violations.

My favorite part of rewatching Star Trek (the original series) is all the times Kirk and Spock have to have multifactor authentication codes sent to their communicators before they’re able to see a screen. Also, the times they have to prove to those screens that they’re indeed human (or Vulcan).
