The last reading on my prairie book tour is TOMORROW in Winnipeg. I'll be reading from Skin Hunger (@guernicaeditions.bsky.social) along with Zilla Jones, Seyward Goodhand and M.C. Joudrey. I'd love if some Winnipeg folks came by to listen and say hi!

Delighted that my Skin Hunger is among these great fall offerings from @guernicaeditions.bsky.social . I'm especially pleased that River of Dreams by my friend Robin Blackburn McBride is among them, but I am looking forward to reading them all.

“Skin Hunger” is a translation of the Danish term hudsult which literally means “starved for touch”. It relates to psychologist Harry Harlow’s comfort-contact theory and his experiments with baby rhesus monkeys during the 1960s. Learn more: guernicaeditions.com/products/ski... #animalrights

I had fun creating a playlist for my novel, Skin Hunger, which lets me introduce my main characters and some of the other women in the book. Read on the @guernicaeditions.bsky.social blog about how I chose the songs for them, and click through to the playlist.
