Fun fact, been in this shack & signed the log book almost 40 years ago. (The hike's appx 14 mi & 12 hrs long. Dad thought it was a great idea to try w/ 2 kids under 10, a 16 yr old, no canteens & no flashlights) I wonder what they do with the old log books 🤔

#DCgrief I need to talk a little about Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) the condition that lead to DC's death. In HCM one wall of the heart thickens. Went too hard @ work out today. In weight training you can either go lower weight & more reps or higher weight but fewer reps. I tend to favor +weight/-reps. Since my 130lbs x 110 rep drop set last time, I wanted to up my weights by a lot, so warmup @ 110, Set2 @ 130. All was fine & dandy until

At the suggestion of my physical therapist, last year I started working w/ a personal trainer. When I told them both my knees hurt going up and down stairs, we started working on my quads, to provide support & stability to my knees. Yesterday I did a drop set* of leg presses. 130 lbs 110 reps 🤯

It always strikes me as weird that you're not supposed to speak ill of the dead, but our libel laws are structured in such a way that you can't speak honestly about people until after they have passed. Also, it's good to be reminded to live your life so that people will not celebrate your passing.
