I have just reached 12,000 followers - thank you to all of you for your continued support!! Here's another coastal scene from Arnarstapi in #Iceland from my Feb 2025 trip.

Waves recede over black coastal rocks, covered in seaweed. The exposure is slowed down so the waves are a little milky smooth, and there are some scratchy gold patches where the sun's reflection has caught on the surface of the sea.

A very pointy mountain sticks up into the air, with its pointy top reflected in a little pond. The grasses are all a bit of a ghastly brown colour. Unusually un-snowy for February - tiny bits just visible on the flanks of the mountain. Grey skies above with a little texture in the cloud and a brighter patch on the horizon.
