Funny, bsky account came over to Threads to mock people for using it, but when I come here to use bsky it just doesn’t work. Many of my past images are missing and I cannot upload new videos or images.

@bsky.app @support.bsky.team Could you give me back my images, please? I was trying to access something. Now it’s just not here. Tried to attach a video of the problem and it won’t upload. Great functionality here.

For those who may wonder where Deirdre Assenza went. @deirdreassenza.bsky.social

Screenshot of a recent post on Threads by Deirdre Assenza
“Been a long time. Felt like I should come back just to say I won't be returning to social media. Having nude pictures taken of me and disseminated without my knowledge or consent has been the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me. I've been very suicidal for the past year. It was because of my social media presence that I was targeted. So for my mental health and my family I am calling it quits for good.

I will be deleting this after word gets around, because the pictures were taken in a way that violated my children's privacy and I don't ever want them to know this happened. They deserve a childhood.
I love all the friends l've made online (if you were part of doing this to me you are not my friend) and I will miss you all.”

Screenshot of comment on Deirdre Assenza’s Theeads post by Lotus Carroll with response from Deirdre:
“lotuscarroll: I was looking for you on BlueSky recently and was a bit worried to see you were gone for so long. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Wishing you the very best.

deirdre.assenza: Thank you I've been having trouble logging back into blue sky to post this there so if anyone there asks please do let them know.”

If social media use doesn’t generate interactions, it’s not very social, is it?

Lotus @lotuscarroll.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

Well, apparently I’m also not able to upload images to post anymore, either. Is anybody else experiencing this?

I just decided to scroll through my media tab to find an image I posted here in the past. What I discovered is that I can’t see the majority of images I’ve shared here. Can anybody help me understand why?

It is so depressing to me to see how many people are willing to feed ChatGPT and use gen AI just to see a cartoon of themselves that nobody, including them, will care about in a week.

I haven’t made any photos in a long time. Finding other ways to stay creative, though. Lots of doodling, some embroidery, painting, etc. planning on learning to crochet soon. And trying to not use SM as much anymore (again). It used to be more beautiful than harmful, but I fear that time has passed.

Don't bother arguing about whether ICE is a police force or a military force. It's neither. It behaves as a disorganized, violent mob, cursing, shouting contradictory orders, and attacking unarmed citizens on a whim. It is deployed to create fear and chaos, not to enforce laws or establish order.

They say they’re monitoring ICE arrests. Feds say they’re breaking the law.

The fatal shooting of Renée Good last week, as ICE officers and residents faced off on a Minneapolis street here, has brought new attention to ICE monitoring.

heartbroken to learn the pope sympathizes with the poor. how can i continue to believe in god

The Pope tweets: "The poor are not there by chance or by blind and cruel fate. Nor, for most of them, is poverty a choice. Yet, there are those who still presume to make this claim, thus revealing their own blindness and cruelty. #DilexiTe"

Someone replies: "I was so hopeful I could be a Catholic again after the disaster that Francis was, guess we just get Francis 2.0 now and I am heartbroken. How do I stay a Catholic now...I don't want to lose faith but I am. You belong to someone else, not God."
