Family moments at the water’s edge. A scene of care and connection. Did you know? Elephants can recognise themselves in mirrors—the only land animal besides humans with this ability. Also, an elephant’s memory is so strong they can remember waterholes and migration routes for decades. #elephant

Using my 25mm lens, a remote-controlled camera, and a shutter speed of 1/500 sec at f/8, I managed to focus on a single Rainbow Lorikeet in the foreground while letting a cascade of vibrant colour fill the background. It’s all about finding that perfect balance—what do you think of the result?

Chasing golden hour meant soaked jeans 🌅 I saw the surf light up at sunset, grabbed my camera, and climbed the rocks with my dog Romie by my side. Tried shooting handheld no luck at 0.5 sec, so I ran back for the tripod. Worth it. 🙌☺️ Settings: 0.5s • f/22 • ISO 100 • 24mm What do you think?
