Its interesting because this doesnt exist anymore. The customisation and aesthetics elements of the internet is gone, but algorithms have made the internet so... anti-social, its hardly a vector for in person socialising as it was. I think aesthetic collages on tiktok are the closest things left.

Interesting to think about things and realise how central pinterest boards and customised aesthetic tumblr blogs and making outifts on polyvore was to my teenage years, like it defined how me and my friends talked and hung-out. Often it was all often based around the books we were reading.

When i was younger, like a teenager, i would have a permanently cocky expression that got me into shit with adults despite being a fundementally well behaved and well graded kid. Amongst aging/transitioning that has turned into a permanent expression of confusion which gets me more sympathy.

Is Digger good or bad? Idk, i have to look up individual youtube critics to find that out now, because all the headlines are like "it lost money!" Okay and?? Some of the best movies are flops. The thing, blade runner 2049. In fact good art is anti-thetical to that which makes money.

Theres been this weird shift in rhetoric around movies where when something comes out in the cinema all you hear about is how much its making and its box office record rather than if its good or not or what it has to say. Like every media outlet acts like they fund this stuff.

The moment i moved out of my parents house i met my gf by accident and immediatly practicly started living together (yes, very lesbian of us.) 4 years later and i realised ive never lived alone, and thank god tbh, just having someone to cook for makes life so much sweeter.

My biggest take-away from Marathon (video game) is that so many games can have better NPCs were difficulty increases arent just "more bullet spongey".

Urth of the New Sun was a fine enough read but it felt... so excess, providing too much clarity and this one really bogged down into the christian ideals that just come across as over simplistic. (Esp compared to buddhist readings or works for example) - its not really for my taste like BOTNS is

They have to stop with the "the headset can run the games" too - nobody who is interested in the medium doesnt have a ps5/pc. It only pushes up the prices of the devices (esp in the age of ram shortage) and limits game devs abilities.
