A zabrak woman with light gray skin, thin dark geometric tattooed and red eyes sits at a table. She holds a glass with red liquid in, and her head is tilted slightly. Her white hair flows like a curtain, and she has a slight smile on her face

We've again commissioned the wonderful @phyonix.design to do some artwork for some upcoming Secret Redacted Projects, and he got so inspired he did these two wonderful pieces to supplement them! Aren't they incredible?

Our third character art reveal, once again by the lovely @izzypetersart.bsky.social ! @weaselpunk.bsky.social is playing Jax Vorn - Polis Massan engineer and hermit!

A gangly Polis Massan stands wearing an oversized jacket. His mask-like face is cracked, and a downward-curved voice box gives him the look of a sad clown. His right hand is raised and showing the peace sign. His left hand is also raised revealing it to be a mechanical prosthesis, with the fingers splayed at angles having turned into tools.

In just under a week, season 9 of Force Majeure starts! As I'm a little bit behind with my promo posts, let's get things going, starting with our season banner reveal!

Against a backdrop of tall narrow trees and a foreground of grass and heather, a starship is parked at an oblique angle.

A square block out on the left says:

Force Majeure
Season IX
A Shot at Redemption

Day 5, and the gang's now all here! Captain Carter Heek and his noble steed Apia, played by @edfortune.bsky.social with art by @jaunty.art Engineer. Explorer. Adventurer. Movie star. The Captain is a much bigger hero than his small stature may suggest, but will that be enough?

A banner with a background of orange and browns. On the left it states "Force Majeure Season VIII, The Doom that came to Sanctaris".

The first one along looks human, wearing a long blue sleeveless robe with a hood that covers the top half of his face. His skin is a light brown, and he has a steel-grey goatee. Underneath the robes a grey suit can just about be seen. He is holding a staff in his left hand, with a circular metallic top.

The second one along is a nautolan with light green skin, big dark pupil-less eyes and a crest of light green tentacles, the longest two of which fall over each shoulder. He is wearing a light grey bodysuit with a brown belt, and there is a rifle over his left shoulder. Prominent around his neck is a golden stylised sun on a necklace.

The third character along is probably best described as a beaver dressed like Indiana Jones, riding on the back of a massive bee.

The fourth character along resembles a werewolf dressed in a grey three-piece suit and a long brown overcoat. They are pointing a very large revolver with their right hand towards the camera, while their left hand is tucked into their trousers pocket nonchalantly.

Day 3 and our second character teaser - Rokéo Balizari, played by @maddambeltaine.bsky.social with art by @jaunty.art This Calanat Priest of the Church of the Moons sees with more than just their eyes - but will the Goddess Neridia grant them sight enough to survive the coming Doom?

A banner with a background of orange and browns. On the left it states "Force Majeure Season VIII, The Doom that came to Sanctaris".

Two of the four characters are silhouettes.

He is wearing a light grey bodysuit with a brown belt, and there is a rifle over his left shoulder. Prominent around his neck is a golden stylised sun on a necklace.

The remaining two characters are silhouettes.

Day 2, and our first character teaser - Ssavriel Ssuy, played by @narrativium.bsky.social with art by @jaunty.art The Church of the Sun knows that even the brightest light casts shadows, and that's where this cool operator works best. He will forge a better world - regardless of the cost.

In one week, Season 8 starts! And for the rest of this week, we're going to start teasing you with character artwork! For today though, some silhouettes to pique your interest 😁

A banner, the background of which is browns and golds and just about showing a meteor falling from the sky.

On the left hand side it says Force Majeure Season VIII The Doom That Came To Sanctaris.

There are 4 silhouettes of character but nothing more can be made out.

Name a non-LOTR character that could resist the One Ring.

The show artwork of Prinkle, a Chadra-Fan. He has light grey fur and a very bat-like head. He has a slight smile with two buck teeth protruding over the lip. He's wearing a light brown janitors uniform with two crossed belts. Over his right shoulder is a mop. He looks content.

And lastly is the Goodest Boy in the village, Max the Sheriff. This daring canine will keep the peace regardless of the cost, as long as he gets biscuits and a good fussing. Max is played by Rob, who hasn't yet made it over to Bluesky yet and I'm not linking to his Twitter 😛

A very shaggy dog, reminiscent of an Irish wolfhound, rests on a rug in front of a roaring fire. He is wearing a bandanna on which is attached a sheriffs star. He is a very good boy.

Following Bardol is Old Jeb, the jovial and approachable village priest. He may be running late for an appointment but I'm sure it's nothing that can't wait, right? Old Jeb is played by Geoff, who wisely does not have any social media presence.

A cheerful older gentleman sits on a wooden bench outside a wood and stone building. He is wearing hooded robes, and has a staff resting across his crossed legs. There is a look of actor Peter O'Toole in his face, if Peter had chosen pies instead of alcohol as his lifestyle choice.

Next up is Bardol the Liar, patriarch of the Schultz clan and definite helper. He is brought to life by Harry of the continuingly-invalid handle from the @dicecompany.bsky.social podcast!

An old man leans on a fence grinning toothily. He looks a little bit like actor Michael Cochrane if said actor drank far too much homebrewed scrumpy. In the background can be seen a number of buildings in the Tudor black-and-white style

First is Beryl Green, our village weather witch and wife of the absent Mayor, played ably by @magpiehound.bsky.social !

A disarmingly middle-aged woman in a long dress sits on the bank of a river. She has a pair of curling rams horns growing from the side of her head, and a staff leans against the rock next to her. The top of the staff has flowers growing from it. In the background, a mill sits on the other bank with a waterwheel gently turning in the river's flow.
