You know, I’ve really come to appreciate more now something as simple as a cute, crocheted, stuffed little fella that your Nan has made. It’s not been generated or printed. Over time and practice, a person has put together this little thing for a few quid at an event or for the sheer joy of it.

I’d say’s it’s the latter. Even something as simple as “you buy one you get one free. I said you buy one you get one FREE!” Has held so much more staying power in the common consciousness than however many free spins I’m relentlessly told I’ll get through some app shady app”

Megadroid living the dream

It was 1993 and I was on Top of the world, I was host of the UK's most popular comic, the reviews were great and we had plenty of options.

Megadroid sat in bar with Blaze Fielding and Tyris Flare, a neon SEGA sign just visable on the brick wall behind them.

Astrophotographer Adam (AJ) Smadi caught this image a few hours ago from Washington state. A thin crescent Moon, sunlight illuminating the rugged lunar surface. And 2,400 times farther away—and on the other side of the Sun—mighty Jupiter, and its moons Io (left) and Ganymede (right).

A crescent Moon seen during the day, arcing from upper left to lower right of the frame. At lower centre is the full disk of Jupiter; the small dots to its upper left and lower right and Io and Ganymede, respectively.
