As it is Halloween, please do NOT discard pumpkins in the wood. The creatures who live there have plenty of food, nuts, berries, seeds, etc. Pumpkins are not native to the UK & can cause positive harm to #hedgehogs by giving them severe diarrhoea, which can eventually kill them. 🌱 @rspb.bsky.social

We won! Yesterday the planning application for 150 houses on land North of Chaddesden Wood was REFUSED! Thank you to the nearly 1500 people who objected to the planning application, to Oakwood’s councillors & Jonathan Davies, MP. Without your help, we could not have got the result we received. 🌱
