The image shows oversimplified and idealised wings. Great for some fantasy settings but the bone structure is totally awry.

This image focuses on the leading edge of the wing - the propatagium. It's a membrane that fills the gap between the wrist and shoulder, creating a nice aerodynamic shape.

Final image shows skeletal schematic of the flying vertebrates forelimb: the bat, the bird, the pterosaur. With a funny comparison to the human hand.

A redesign of Toepick from Ben 10. He has large, dark bony plates covering his shoulders and thick neck, culminating in a pale cage like face and two large horns that have additional smaller spikes. His eye peers from between the 'teeth' of the cage. The omnitrix is directly below his pectoral, his arms are long but fat and with relatively small hands and he has stubby, elephantine legs. Finally, he has a lizard-like tail with fleshy fronds sticking out from it that match the three on each forearm.

Some 1890s dragon illustrations by art nouveau artist Anton Seder. The rules apparently are: they must be lavishly detailed but their faces must be absolutely wretched. (Except for the top right ones in the 2nd image, they're quite happy!) #art

4 illustrations of very very long-necked curvy dragons, with lizardlike bodies, no wings, and lots of fin-like ornamentation. Some parts of them are very detailed and realistic, such as their scale patterns, but all have grotesque, malformed, grimacing faces.

A page filled with illustrations of various very small-sized dragons, with totally different body plans. In the bottom right there is one with a shiny, armored lizardlike body with a snakelike head and a long tail ending in an arrow. In the middle left, there is a sea serpent one with 2 large fins, like a ray finned fish. In the middle right is one that looks like a combo of bird and snake, with a long snakelike tail, a toothy beak, and very long scales that resemble feathers. In the top right there are a pair of tiny ones drawn climbing in some tree twigs, with sort of newt-like attitudes, though still with very long oddly ornamented necks. Etc.

A page filled with colorful inset illustrations of all different types of dragons, filling decorative borders and corners. Some look more fishy, others more snakey, some have beaks, one has 3 horns like a triceratops and is impaling another, most have very unpleasant faces and expressions, all are very unique.

Happy Friday, here's a t-rex I sculpted and painted for work, about 1:8 scale. Thanks to my buddy RJ Palmer for helping me out with some crits and redlines as I sculpted it
