In Gaza🍉, a 15-year-old boy named Abood suffers from severe seizures while his family watches helplessly, unable to afford his treatment due to poverty and high medical costs. They urgently need $130 to help provide his medication & give him a chance at recovery. Donate⬇️ chuffed.org/project/1844...

Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

A cute goofy, tiny white cat with a big smile holding up a disproportionately large & more human hand, palm out towards the viewer. On it reads: “if you talk to me about using an AI chatbot I WILL crash out.” The illustration is off a soft red background and made with primary colors.

really tired of conversations about how we need to get people to spend more time offline that don't acknowledge that one of the reasons people ARE online is their access needs aren't being met in physical spaces. This is especially true for queer people and disabled people.

gonna be honest for a sec I'm straight up not having a good mental health time for a while now, the uncertainty of everything and the lack of self esteem or just trust is getting to me. The plan was that I'll be more active with more free time but my time is taken up with holding life together

The "creatives" who use genAI at any part of their process need to understand I'm not desperate for new media. There is such a backlog of arts, movies, books, and games WITHOUT genAI that if nothing new was made again, I'd still need a hundred lifetimes to consume even a fraction of it.
