one of gaming's finer pleasures is playing a doom mod and knowing exactly what kind of levels the dev likes from doom 1 and 2. i feel like a snooty wine taster. ah yes, a fine monster closet. very romero. yet the level structure is like a condensed city map. note of petersen, perhaps? excellent.
