Page 2: Later, the main zookeeper is in a dark room filled with TVs displaying security footage of the zoo animals. He is soaking wet in a raincoat, staring solemnly at the screen which shows the chimpanzee. The zookeeper reaches down to press a large red button on the desk beneath the screen display.

Page 3: from inside the chimpanzee exhibit, we see the security gate open. The chimpanzee wander through and exits the building to a dark, rainy street corner. He extends his arms and lets the rain fall onto him.

Page 4: the chimpanzee is in the backseat of a cab, driving somewhere else in the city at night. The final panel is the chimpanzee at checkout in a grocery store with a huge pile of bananas. The clerk looks mildly shocked.

I know calling reps is very nerve racking. You're not sure what's the right thing to say, and tbh having a script thrown at me makes things just as nerve racking. I called today, and I figured I'd write up a transcript of how my call went down. Hopefully it helps demystify the process

Me: Are you familiar with this ongoing push for these online safety laws?

Me: the KIDS Act, Kids online safety act (KOSA), the Screen Act, Sammy's Law, and the App Store Accountability Act

Me: I strongly oppose these laws and I urge Billy Bob to vote no when these bills are up for vote. They do nothing to actually protect children and are just a cover to suppress free speech.

Also There's been a bipartisan push to end section 230. I think Section 230 should be protected since it's important for online free speech. I'm not a fan of this speed running of a surveillance state happening
right now. Have you noticed that?

I hope people can become familiar with the concept of not putting all faith into a single service/platform again. It was ten years ago that Skype became inconvenient so people switched from using it. Even further back people manually opted to download and use other browsers than Internet Explorer.
