To elaborate: strabismus is a misalignment of the eyes. Mine is only really visible when I'm too tired to pull both eyes into alignment. It's not a problem when I drive, but when I make art, I end up with a lot of strange lines, a lot of repeated swipes trying to find the right line

To clarify, these are my drypoint tools. You should ABSOLUTELY be wearing safety glasses while working with your face up close to a two-ended fuckin metal scribe

A scribe is a beautifully twisted two-ended piece of steel that is sharper than a drag queen's glare and will absolutely eyefuck you in a bad way if you screw up. And you will. Even a minor earthquake could end in eyefucking. So wear eye protection. There are two drypoint tools in rhe picture. One of them is not a scribe and it has cork in the middle for easy handling but they are both sharp on both ends
