im nervous to work on the panasonic stereo. taking things apart is so easy.. putting them back together is the hard part. i dont know exactly whats wrong with the disc tray but im hoping its something simple like a loose part or broken belt.

i think i have a problem with bringing audio equipment home. panasonic SA-AK20 i found at value village for $16 including the speakers. sounds great!!!! im gonna need to replace the belts in the tape deck (as usual) and take a look at the disc tray (gets stuck sometimes).

someone brought this old psyc walkman in for recycling today. she said it didnt work anymore and batteries had corroded in it. i asked if i could have it & she said yes. took it home, found the service manual, cracked it open & cleaned everything. works like new now :3 very pleased.

left work. it had rained all morning & afternoon & it was very stressful & busy for a couple hours. stepped outside, the sky was partially clear & the sun was setting over the horizon & it was so bright & golden pink. birds flying. and their shadows were so large. i felt quite small and quite happy.

got a pretty decent deal on this guy... for the condition its in im fine with what i paid. the tape deck on my cd player is busted and i do want to try and fix it at some point but im also wary of breaking something else in the process.. so for now the walkman will do
