PbtA fans, here's my challenge to you. For the next 12 months, when somebody asks how PbtA works, tell them that normally a 10+ is a critical hit, a 7-9 is a hit, and a 6- is a compromise, but that unusually challenging or dangerous situations can bump itdown.

Yeah. Rogers needed the CBC because at the time of the original deal they didn’t have the reach they feel they have now. Now they are putting a whole bunch of games behind their streaming paywall and are sending other games elsewhere (like Amazon Prime).

If you've played or designed RPGs you are doubtless familiar with skill systems. You have a list of different things that you can learn to do, and if you practice them (with "experience points" or w/e), you can get better at them. Yeah, my character took gymnastics in college, I can do that. +

Trying out Pendragon because while most of my Sunday game enjoyed Triangle Agency it broke one of them and that means it wasn’t going to be fun. So we went a little crunchier and so watch us try the Great Pendragon campaign. We will see how far we get. And one family tree down.

Sorry, what? The US didn’t just demand the right to restrict us from making trade deals with other countries - they demanded that they be able to force Canada to impose new tariffs on other countries and set the rates of those tariffs. That’s just agreeing to let the US control our economic policy.

I agree with that. The way I have always found to make sure nobody winks as the Ref is to make them very, very dangerous. I have done incredibly silly things using the Bozos but they were dangerously silly things that put everyone’s danger.
