Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 06/09/2026Trying out Pendragon because while most of my Sunday game enjoyed Triangle Agency it broke one of them and that means it wasn’t going to be fun. So we went a little crunchier and so watch us try the Great Pendragon campaign. We will see how far we get. And one family tree down. 020
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 15/06/2026So I've added all my current games up on RPG Trader because I figured it's always good to have as many platforms as you can including your own. I'm just not motivated to put one on my website and get a payment platform. So you can go here now too! rpg-trader.com/creator/448/... 042
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 05/04/2026Another classic is Ars Magica! Troupe play! Language based magic! They recently released the Definitive edition but I still have me my fourth edition stuff. 010
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 05/04/2026The list, it keeps growing! Um ... two more to add. @nerdburgercraig.bsky.social Marvel Heroic Roleplaying is still my most favourite super hero RPG because it was a game where it felt that you could have wildly different power level in the superheroes and still have them all be effective. 100
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 05/04/2026Also picked up a physical copy of Trianglr agency at @breakoutcon.bsky.social. I had picked up the PDF during the kickstarter but had to get a physical copy because the book is beautiful. Also it just hits funnier when you are reading it like the corporate manual it claims to be! 110
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 05/04/2026Every have an idea for something and as you start to write it down someone who clearly had a similar idea years ago is bringing it to fruition and doing it much better so you put down the idea and just back the game. That was my experience with Hollows. 110
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 05/04/2026Picked this up at @breakoutcon.bsky.social through the @ipr.bsky.social booth. Adorable little game where you play reality TV but as llamas. The fact that the game asks you to make a llamaverse and fill it with Llama puns is perfect. No notes. 184
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 04/04/2026Fun fact, I do have my old "White Wolf" game but ... it was never any of the WoD stuff. I got into ... TRINITY! because of course I did. This is the Aeon timeline for Trinity, the update that Onyx Path did in 2019. Because goodness knows if I can't come sideways at something, would I be me? 110
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 04/04/2026Will always rep Lonely Timbers by @genesisoflegend.bsky.social. There's a second edition coming and I can't give Jason my money fast enough. It's a game set in Northern Quebec in the logging camps in the 19th century. Talks a lot about isolation, masculinity, and is a very French Canadian game. 130
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 04/04/2026You Will Die in This Place was something that intruiged me as a premise. Reading the book a little bit is has a bit of a Mork Borg meet the Princess Bride kind of vibe to it. That whole meta-narrative worked for Triangle Agency but I'm not sure about this yet but I'm willing to give it time. 121
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 04/04/2026Old school @rtalsoriangames.bsky.social with TFOS … Teenagers from Outerspace! My print copy says 1997 and that is because if there was an anime game in the 90s chances are R. Tal was publishing it. You get all the goofy slapstick comedy you want. Even has an opening comic! 110
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 04/04/2026Velvet Glove by @scorchadoom.bsky.social is one of my favourite PbtAs that I don’t have the full version of. Girl gangs in the 70s! Lots of feelings, emotions and violence which I come to expect from Sarah’s games. 240
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 04/04/2026Wolfspell! So metal that @epidiah.bsky.social did it as an album. Folds out and everything. Amazing art by @portablecity.bsky.social 381
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 28/03/2026Trying to get some good weather early. Is sunny and not deathly cold so away I go. 020
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 17/01/2026Jasper mind control holding hands tower reporting in to Jinx chore removal mind control tower come in. 010
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 31/08/2025Because it is fun for the first few questions! #gtkm #ttrpg 191
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 14/08/2025Oops! All Draculas is a What We Do In The Shadows but as an RPG. Met the author at breakout and 100% got the game. Haven’t really had time to get into it but is in the list! 000
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 14/08/2025I love the idea behind “You have one skill … the ability to fuck this up!” Because it is based around the tension of failure. You roll two dice and that’s the success number. You want to roll under in order to succeed. But that becomes the new success number. Want to steal it for a horror game. 100
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 14/08/2025Moonlight on Roseville Beach. Picked this up @breakoutcon.bsky.social because the aesthetic kept drawing me in. You take three looks at a book you should probably buy it. Mechanic is some kind of any kind dice where you assign what you roll to different effects. Setting is very romance pulpy. 152
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 14/08/2025Boldly Go! Is my favourite “Star Trek” game out there. The whole game mechanic runs on the idea that if you work together you can solve problems. Ran 10 sessions of it and after a mid season break we are going to go back to it. Honestly all heart and more people should be playing it. 130
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 14/08/2025Marvel Heroic Roleplaying. I stand by that this is my most favourite use of Cortex and my most favourite Marvel RPG ever. Character creation was so easy and fluid that people missed it because there wasn’t a huge set by step guide. Beyond that it made it easy to play Marvel characters too. 1104
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 14/08/2025Dragon Quest second edition. 1980 printing. My friend Pierie introduced me to this game in my 20s and I have fond memories of playing it. Magic system was my introduction to a backlash mechanic to magic. I was playing an earth mage who kept losing my ability to speak because I was bad at rolling. 110
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 14/08/2025Blowback. 2009 published date. Basically Burn notice the RPG but you played two characters, one spy and one normal person in their lives. Couple of interesting things was the replanning of the bad guys defences and the push pyramid. 130
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 11/05/2025Without downloading any new pictures, what is your mental state? 010
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 15/03/2025Forgot to post last night be we did have a game of Behind You! Which went incredibly well. We had three deaths almost out the gate. 010
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 14/03/2025Getting ready to officially run my first game of Fighting Words at @breakoutcon.bsky.social! 151
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 11/02/2025Excited that I got the proofs for the real time card fighting game I made with @cchunggames.bsky.social! 050
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 21/12/2024I have this card in my Arcades deck and the first time it hit the table I got looks. 030
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 03/12/20249/9 Lonely Timbers by @genesisoflegend.bsky.social which is a game about lumberjacks working in logging camps in the northern Canadian woods. It's historical, it's touching, it's harsh, it's just generally fantastic. 120
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 02/12/2024ECH0 is a game about children who live in peace after a historical war who are playing around the rusting war mechs of a previous era when they come across a dead pilot who has been uploaded into an echo and you're going to bring them back to their mech to put them to rest. 110
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 02/12/2024The Droog Family Songbook. A contest from 1km1kt.net where you took two movies and mashed them together. This is the Sound of Music and A Clockwork Orange. You play a member of the Von Droogs who are trying to keep their favourite things safe from the Nazis in Austria sometimes using ultraviolence. 100
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 02/12/2024Headspace which is Silver Ennie Winning @slavetothehat.bsky.social's cyberpunk #pbta game where you have a shared consciousness in a cyberpunk setting and you can use each other skills but your feelings that get triggered spill out just as much. It's a fantastic game, and a great cyberpunk game. 100
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 02/12/2024Puppetland. I saw this originally in the 90s on the internet. This is the "new" illustrated version in 2016 was an instant back for me because it was one of those games I remember saying was awesome and all my friends looking at me like I had two heads. I did, one was a puppet head. 200
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 02/12/2024WOLFSPELL! @epidiah.bsky.social's most METAL game ever. Basically you have been turned into wolves for a reason and it's your job to travel across a frozen wasteland and try to fix your curse. It's so metal it's printed on an album cover. I haven't looked at it in a while I need to fix that. 161
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 02/12/2024Dragon Quest is a very, very, very old RPG originally published in 1980. It's got a place in my heart because I remember playing this as one of my first fantasy games with friends. Percentile based. Experience required you to use the skill. Magic has a "miscast" chart. 130
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 02/12/2024Boldly go by @geoffquest.bsky.social! I talk about it a lot but honestly I love this game to pieces. It's such a good "Star Trek" game that someone once went up to Geoff and told him that the game was broken because if everyone worked together then they could overcome any obstacle ... 142
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 02/12/202444: A Game of Automatic Fear by Matt Snyder is a 2009 game where you play people who are discovering that there are robots that are taking over the world in the 50s. Sometimes the characters survive, sometimes they're replaced but you as the player will have a good time. 100
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 27/11/2024Because she has been snuggly I feel like sharing pictures. 040
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 23/11/2024As per @clarkvalentine.bsky.social I reserve the right to interpret playlist very broadly. 110
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 15/11/2024Honestly so glad to have it working and a physical copy to show for it. I will probably turn on the book later on @drivethrurpg.com! #ttrpg #pbta #rpg 040
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 27/10/2024Got the best Warehouse games jersey for my birthday! 010
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 20/10/2024Jumping to video games I love Tekken so much. I am not as good as I used to be when I was younger but I would put myself as a C+, B- player. 000
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 20/10/2024Switching to board games this is one I love because of the memories of with friends late into the night. It is also one I love bringing up because people don’t expect this one from me. 100
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 20/10/2024Starting off with RPG stuff I think one of the things I love is tied to my last RPG session. It was an amazing Bladed in the Dark campaign that ran on Sunday Mornings and it was so good. It was the Cult of the Want with their triumvirate. 110
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 20/10/2024Taken from @bankuei.bsky.social. Like music but with games. 131
Jo'lal to some @firestorm-ink.com · 15/10/2024My familiar snuggling so hard she showed her tummy. 091
