I always tell my students that writing takes soul energy and while it can be easy to push through chores when the soul energy is depleted, you have to have a certain stock of it to dig into your creativity. <3

Living with our kitten is like 5 percent horror and 95 percent joy so I think the happiness ROI is pretty high. That’s what I told myself this morning at 3 AM when she decided my hands were mortal enemies and attacked.

I love Edinburgh! Second the writers museum - also the Arthur Conan Doyle pub. I didn’t get to do it because we weren’t there on a Sunday but there was a writers walking tour from the writer’s museum.

Eight years ago today, my wife and I had a sweet little wedding on one of the hottest days of the summer (34.4 C/94 F) surrounded by a few lovely friends and our furry kids. We’d been together two years already by that point, and in lesbian years, that’s like a lifetime. Happier every day

The CBC is definitely not using the warning for bigoted reasons - like who the hell actually uses the “sin’ argument when they cherry pick the bible to back up their own prejudices. I knew you didn’t mean it that way, Linda.
