Araquanid is a better SV OU Pokemon than Heatran, and I don’t think it’s very close right now. Ribombee is, too, while both are better than Tyranitar and Excadrill. Weird times

I was able to win the OU Fall Seasonal tournament after coming back from the loser’s bracket and winning both finals sets. This is special for me after losing in the grand finals of the OU Spring Seasonal. Doing this in a field of 200+ competitors is an honor Replays below 🧵

-rebuilding our content management system and redesigning our home page. Having worked closely with him for years, I can say with certainty that he is literally just a stressed-out mid-30s guy who wants to crawl in a hole and code and not engage with the public, not some purveyor of Nazi dogwhistles

Kyurem having freeze chance moves, multi-hit chance moves, and miss chance moves is evil. The range of outcomes is too large for my tiny brain to fathom

Something about not seeing the actual Elon Musk spamming AI images to pretend he’s handsome or responding “hmm” to conspiracy theories makes this platform much more refreshing to scroll through

I am glad the National Dex playerbase got the outcome they desired, banning Tera with a near 70% supermajority. This has no impact on SV OU, which has different Pokemon, rulesets, legalities, and so on. Movements to tier Tera, outside of Tera Blast, have been largely stagnant.

Having watched a couple of these high-profile Jake Paul fights before I’m guessing this one will be another slow-motion sparring session where no one really lands much of note and it ends with a shrug. At the end everyone will talk about respecting each other and they will all make a bunch of money.
