Hmm, maybe it's because things feel so bad and bleak right now, I don't know...this film makes not a lick of sense but I really enjoyed it for its earnestness and...niceness. (And the practical fx and gore!) I don't need nice good feelings in my horror ever really but this shit felt like a balm

There is a tiny side window to my apartment that I never open and only look out of sometimes. There is a hole at the bottom of the screen and a squirrel (or perhaps a bird, or maybe the two girls from the 2013 film MAMA) uses the sill between the screen and the window as a secret stash space
