I could really feel it on my last run too, it was another full lobby wipe and Compiler clear, but I played hella sloppy. Still, we got it done. Doubt I'll ever play with those guys again. 100

But since then I haven't been able to get back to them besides a couple failed Compiler attempts. But last night, we cleared it 4 times 100

But yesterday I matched with two cracked randos and we cleared lobby on Cryo and got a vault 5 key with 22min left. They knew that could turn into a Compiler kill 100

I'm scared to run, I'm scared to shoot at the shockingly smart and difficult UESC npcs. It's a cutthroat experience I don't get in traditional shooters 100

Or if we're in a large building together, I stalk the other players until I can ambush them while theyre distracted 100
Fier @fier.bsky.social · 09/03/2026Marathon has the juice, and lots of it. Yeah it nails the good art direction, good gameplay check boxes, but more importantly is how intense each moment is. I like solo runs because it turns into a horror game where every player is a hunter. The sound design is top notch. 100
