One Battle After Another 5/5 Movie so good it made me remember I'm doing a media thread. Fastest 3 hour movie of my life, Bob doesn't do shit right during the entire movie and still rules

Nobody (2021) 2/5 John Wick expect they miss the point in every scene. Perfect if you're a middle aged man going through a midlife crisis. Some nice shot composition! Still sucks ass

DOOM (idk the year) 1/5 Funny blood effects, goofy writing. Sucks lol

Look Back (2024) 5/5 A tight hour long, beautifully animated movie. Passion, obsession, and love just warm my soul.

Invincible S3 (2025) 3/5, but a nice 3/5. Probably the only superhero show I'd watch right now and season 3 is it's best yet. But the animation quality went down and I loooooove quality animation

Paranoia Agent (2004) 4/5 cool anime about the alternate realities our lies create and how they manifest and can become reality

Devilman Crybaby (2018) 5/5 Bounced off this when it came out, glad I tried again. Expressive and fluid animation. So explicit to an absurd degree. Music fucks. I was right about Ryo and the end since like episode 3 and I loved watching the sequence of events unfold.

Serial Experiments: Lain (1998) 3.5/5 Cool and interesting. But the main character--and the viewer, are deliberately kept in the dark about what the hell is going on for 2/3 of the show. Fun to look back on a late 90's views on internet culture. Main character absolutely has mental illness

I don't follow the account but this shit actually makes me sick. Something extremely bleak about announcing the acquisition of an account that posts silly cats, treating it like a product. What a travesty.
