#Spideypool fic 2 for #ficwip5k Title: "Windpool" 5,093 words Rated E Do not ask me how, why or where I got the idea for this fic, because I don't know 😆 What I DO know is that I laughed so much while writing my face hurt. It's Deadpool, he gets inside my head! 🥰 archiveofourown.org/works/91981006

Windpool
Nrem511
"Spider-Man had no choice but to resign himself to the fact that hanging out with Deadpool meant enduring the ever-lurking colon claxon, but he wished things could be different."
Can love conquer flatulence?
A story about Deadpool and his windy bottom.

Notes:
This may be my most cursed fic :-D
I have no idea where this idea came from. I have to just assume that naughty Deadpool got inside my head and had his fun. This is peak Deadpool toilet humor....but I ended up having fun too, because writing this story made me laugh so hard my face hurt. I hope you can enjoy it just as much. I would call it a romantic comedy with the focus on comedy! I also wanted to see how many different ways I could describe farting.

A #Spideypool fic for #ficwip5k Title: "Poolside Pin-Up" 5,092 words, rated E, friends to lovers, a superhero romantic comedy 🥰 This was written out of spite towards Marvel for denying my boy Wade his own swimsuit comic book cover during their yearly event 😏😘 archiveofourown.org/works/91666331

Poolside Pin-Up
Nrem511
Summary:
-“I know my invite probably got lost in the post, but wouldn't you like me to take one teeny photo? You could add it at the end. I promise I'll be good!”-
Deadpool discovers Peter and some other heroes are taking part a swimsuit photo shoot for a magazine, organized by Tony Stark. When the Merc asks if he can join in, Stark turns him down, much to the annoyance of Peter who vows to include Wade one way or another.

Excerpt:

Till chews his lip as he contemplates how to say what he wants to say. He’s made up his mind about this weeks ago, but now that the opportunity is there, he still hesitates a little.

He twirls his pen between his fingers, anxiously tapping it against the paper a few times before he writes, "Are you really Ivan?"

Summary:

Till has been with the rebellion for a few months when Ivan shows up - against all odds alive and unharmed. It's too good to be true, and Till knows that. Questioning it, though, might not be the best idea...

Some people come at an annual challenge like the @ficwip5k.bsky.social with forethought and planning. And then there's me, four years in a row.

The author's note on my 2023 fic:

"I had four other stories in mind for the FicWip 5k challenge. Stories I started with plenty of time. Stories with solid ideas.

This is not any of those stories. This came from a single image that popped into my head in the middle of the night, two days before deadline."

The author's note on my 2024 fic:

"I've been struggling to finish three separate stories for FicWip 5K for over two months, in entirely different fandoms.

I started this thing two hours before deadline. It is rough and unedited but IT'S DONE WITH TWENTY MINUTES TO SPARE.

Yeah, I don't even know anymore."

The author's note on my 2025 fic:

"I woke up at 3AM, frantically scribbled four blocks of dialogue, conked out, and then spent my entire workday frantically scribbling the rest. Later, this is going to feel like a fever dream.

Written for FicWip 5k, which was probably good because I could have gotten deeply lost in this AU and stretched it to a novel if left to my own devices. Honestly, it's better this way."

The author's note on my 2026 fic:

"This ridiculous thing is a 2am fever dream that only happened because I've been rewatching all of the movies in my physical media collection, and I made the mistake of watching all of my Paul Walker movies back to back.

But, hell, I'll take the inspiration when and where it comes, even if it results in something that will only appeal to me and maybe one other sad millennial who loved Paul Walker and still has fondness for the underrated 2000 film The Skulls."

modern AU Dorian/Bull that came to me in a haze after infodumping about dragon age for 30 minutes in a hot tub this weekend #ficwip5k

Screenshot of a fic excerpt:

"I want you to sit on my face," Bull said.
Dorian blinked at him. "Really I'd like to turn you around and lick you out right here," Bull continued with a little shrug, "but my knee's acting up today and I don't know if I'd be able to get back up." He gave Dorian a crooked grin, his fingers creeping in, tracing the inner curve of his ass through his— stupidly expensive sweatpants, Dorian can admit that, he may have been cut off but he can still have some nice things, damn it.
He's not like Bull, who can wear cheap cotton shit and look good. Dorian had even put a little mousse in his hair despite knowing it would be a mess by the end of this. Whatever 'this' was.

I'm a little proud of this one!! 😭😭 #ficwip5k

Snippet from my Star Rail Bodyguard/Assassin AU! Text reads as follows:

“He’s happy I snatched up the Sanctus Medicus info, but he’s upset because I went without consent,” Chicory continues, staring out the window. “Okay, maybe ‘consent’ is weird to say. It’s just that solo missions are so rare to come by, and…”

“I know. He told me similar.” Dan Heng merges into the middle lane after a few cars pass the now green light. “I suppose I can’t blame him for his concern when your body went through what it did that night.”

“It’s nothing I’m used to. Promise.” Chicory shrugs. “If a body is a temple, then I’m willing to desecrate it if it means the ends justify the means.”

“So you say—and perhaps mine opinion doesn’t matter much… but I would have liked to avoid what happened a couple of nights ago.”

The dragon’s declaration silences him. The anger winding him up all this time is engulfed by the great big maw of the beast called guilt.
