The reason everyone assumes it's fake blood at first is because normal, sane people can't imagine someone cutting themselves open for a show, because that is a crazy and stupid thing do to. Which highlights the fact that wrestling is not fake. It is crazy and stupid. Which is probably worse.

Jericho was a great and necessary anchor for the early days of AEW. He was pivotal in giving them credibility and establishing the power level of the other wrestlers there. Once higher quality talent (both in ability and recognition level) started showing up, a progression down the card was natural.

As a game designer who has worked with artists on literally hundreds of pieces, virtually every single one of them was a reference photo or some horrible, HORRIBLE sketch followed by about three sentences at most and I got exactly what I wanted like 95% of the time or maybe more.

Sabu is probably one of if not the last "mythic" wrestler that'll ever be. When I was a kid you'd hear about this guy and how fucking crazy he was but you couldn't go immediately to YouTube to find out for yourself. He had a legend built around him and we'll probably never have that again.
