iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

We’re at the part of the season where we’re tempted to grab the “breakout” WRs with low snap shares. It’s a trap! Avoiding these allows you to get the next Ollie Gordon or Will Shipley.

😂 I don’t know about all this but if you like what I do you’re gonna love @jonleonard.bsky.social. Criminally under followed new analyst in the space.

WR15 in the early part of 2026 looks a lot like the WR9 of 2025.

JSN has been incredible so far. It's gonna be a big ask to keep up this pace. I'd prepare for some regression. Meanwhile, the WR advantage seems to extend to around 15 this year. That's the tier to hunt out in my opinion.

How has WR shaken out so far compared to previous seasons? I pulled the season long data from 2021-2025 and layered in the 2026 data we have so far:

Also, my friend @koopatroopa8.bsky.social made a thing! He's housing the NB10 scores. I'll let him share it when he's ready, but it's really awesome and useful.

It's only been two games, but Bowers is on pace to smash anything we've seen over the last 5+ years at TE

100% the buy window has opened and will likely shut soon as managers begin throwing in the towel

For so long, the fantasy community has called for KC to find The Tyreek Replacement - a big-time receiver for Mahomes. It appears the secret alln long was actually to get a big-time *running back*, force defenses to adjust/heavier boxes and allow your all-world QB to elevate average WRs.

The Chiefs have benefited Ken Walker's 6.17yds per carry way more than the stat line shows. They lead the league in play action rate (39.4%) and it's giving defenses fits.

Anyone else struggling to get into the cadence of the fantasy season?

It’s a fun little legacy thing that a lot of new cars still have the pouch built in behind the front seats that were for the giant map books you’d have to reference.

The best story teller in dynasty gave us two hours of his time, almost unheard of in-season, and wow did we cover a lot of ground.

We never post our stuff on socials, but this season we’ve started a new in-season segment: player tape reviews. Next week check us out reviewing Jeanty, Hampton, Tuten (and maybe a few other Y2 RBs). @dynastyunderdog.bsky.social

I’m a childhood survivor of SA. My abuser being good or bad at his job has zero bearing on whether he’s a complete piece of shit who deserves scorn from every person he interacts with for the rest of his life.

First watch for me, wow are they leaning heavily into the symbolism

Tommy Blair @fftommyb.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Honestly, shut that shit off and switched to the 2016 masterpiece "Inferno" to explore the third epic adventure of symbologist Prof. Langdon from The DaVinci Code. Can't be any worse than Rodgers v Watson.

The more your strategy pulls from waivers the stronger you get during the byes relative to your league (antifragility). Players drawn from waivers don't have to be started in bad matchups, they don't get hurt or have byes because they're simply replaced with another similar thing without loyalty.

Bowers is THE infinity stone since Josh Allen of all people. Only we should’ve seen this one coming.

Tell me when I mess up so I can learn and get better. We all have biases that sometimes go into the bad parts of our psyche. Having them isn’t great, growing through them is.

But confrontation can be good. It can be IMPORTANT. Telling people, even/especially your friends and loved ones, that they said or did something fucked up is a form of love. It’s you saying you care about them enough to give a shit and let them know what they did was wrong.

He get a lot of shit, but McCarthy is a master at making the simple look complex. It’s just a matter of if the NFL is in that phase of offensive scheming whether he’s relevant.
