The first freeze of the year happened a couple days ago and caused the trees to drop a crazy amount of leaves in one day. Here's my yard after filling SIX yard waste barrels.

The bird sandals are complete! All the ugly edges are covered up with an extra thin layer of foam and a black nylon strap around the perimeter. Now to find out if they hold up. Everything is hot glued together. I think it holds strong enough but I'll find out when they really get tested at MFF.

I'm working on sandals for the feet on bird Jayde. It took lots of trial and error to figure out how to set up the straps to prevent the sandal from rotating out from under the heel. I thought it would need rear straps but it turns out these are enough. 🐦 🐦
