I mean seriously. My car got destroyed and it's a shorter work week, so I was like "I need to put in the extra time to do some commissions to give me a safety net for hidden car expenses" the Universe: "HOW ABOUT FUCK YOU MORE!??" *gives debilitating cold I swear every month, I somehow lose a week

Wow just realized I missed Aver's birthday on September 18. I've now been Aver for 7 years. Still feels so new, but getting closer to a decade! first vs latest art aaaand then something kind of in the middle

I've drawn @gooeydeer.com a few times, but easily the best was his pic in my goo calendar. It was so quintessential and a perfect, chill melty pose, it was the cover of the calendar too. He was supportive of me as an artist and I know he was that kind of influential guy to so many. He's very missed.

Cuddles

comic about two puppies named Oregano and Basil cuddling. Basil says; "I love you, Oregano" to Oregano in the first panel. the second panel, Basil says; "I wish I could latch onto your flesh and merge with you like a Ceratioidei(deep sea anglerfish)" much to Oregano's discomfort and dismay

Dorbley kindergarten "If you're happy and you know it, clap your.. windmills!" *all the Dorbles morph their hands into awkward, misshapen windmills because they're still learning "If you're happy and you know it and you really want to show it, if you're happy and you know it, clap your windmills"

Playing AC Odyssey and it makes me wonder: Furry artists that paint traditionally, on canvas are rare, expensive and sought after. But wtf would the wait time and cost be of someone sculpting a 3 meter statue of your sona out of solid marble. Would there even BE a furry sculptor that could do that?

For @gooeydeer.com Man I wish I could've properly drawn your character before you left, I'm still disappointed in that first (and only) piece I did for you. I hope somehow you'll get to see this, and if not, I hope this serves as a good memory of you for those still here in this world. Rest well.

Oh yeah, Ace Combat 8 is coming out in a few days. Read some early steam reviews and oh yeah.... military game so fragile men playing them. "Game has DEI! Don't BUY!" "Pink haired character" "References climate change!" "Has LGBT representation. Satanic." Can't help but laugh

And I need to go into a Service Ontario Center in order to reprint my vehicle ownership so I can have a scan sent to the police who will then send the report to the insurance companies who will then asses and pay for the replacement. And guess who isn't open on the weekends??? Sigh...

Feel physically okay from the crash yesterday. So that teeny bit of soreness really was just 1/10 whiplash and not something else - just like I suspected. But concerned friends were concerned friends. Thanks for checking up on me but I'm at least, physically good

Jaiy's passing is quite a shock. Then 30 minutes later my car gets rear ended and it's a write off. What a shitty day. At least I'm okay, but poor, poor Pocket and everyone that was closer friends with Jaiy than I.

Well, I just got rear ended. 4 car smashing stopping at a red light and the two behind me didn't stop fast enough. Apparently, I got the worst and might be a complete write off.

Random thoughts while drawing: I think it's genuinely really cool when POC code that into their fursonas. Whether it be fur color, hair styles or honestly just some indescribable designs cues that make you go, "They're black and celebrating it. Noice." Thoughts coming from a fat bald white guy lol

Because I took art history in High School, it does make me wonder if in like 200 years, art historians will see the furry fandom's artwork as just like, another chapter in a textbook. "Alright class, pick an artist from the furry era and write a two page essay about them. It'll be due next Friday."

I got thinking of Dorbleys having a boring 9-5 that takes no advantage of their physiology. So they work the same dead end job until they're 103 and it be like this when they get home.... so if anyone's got an Elder Dorbley and wants to make a big splash
