Streamers, wary of both AI and YouTube’s infuriatingly un-transparent hall of mirrors, are not enthused about this new development.

“Ohhh so that’s why ad revenue dropped,” longtime streamer JP "itmeJP" McDaniel said on Twitter.

“I’m genuinely worried that the sheer fact that I’m a lesbian will cause the AI to remove ads,” said Vtuber LuminusRed. “In the past I’ve tested it and confirmed that I get less ad money if I had queer-related tags on my stream like ‘lesbian,’ so I am worried this dumb AI monitoring will mean I no longer get money from ads on Twitch.”

If you're a streamer on windows 11 check your audio input settings for your mic as there's now an AI powered "Audio enhancement" section that defaults to on which can interfere with your microphone audio if you're already processing your audio via OBS filters or other software

This year I learned a big lesson, just because they are family doesn't mean they won't screw you over. A snake is still a snake. I tried to be a good sister and swore he wouldn't screw me over. And as I sit on an air mattress instead of in my bed in my house. Im resolving to doing better.
