Anyways. I'm proud of how far I've come. I'm glad I got here, regardless of the condition. Only place to go is up!

Learning to hold so much grace for past me for how much I neglected myself. But damn some days I wasn't even sure how long I was going to survive. So what should a skipped meal matter? Who cared if I brushed my teeth? Dissociation was the priority.

Amazing how much easier it is to take care of myself when I have something to live for

I'm not sure if I can especially recommend any being so new here, but I encourage you to use the search! Like "black artist starter pack" or even just "starter pack" and you may find some you like. Honestly I just got lucky and found them suggested on my feed

🧵 If you’re posting an image that needs AltText and has a lot of text on it you can use these tools to do it very easily instead of spending time typing it all out.

I recently had my first solo art show, Treaty Girl. It explores Haudenosaunee treaties, worldview, femme aesthetics and pop culture. I made friendship bracelets, sculptures, clay pots, oil painting, and ash baskets. I also did photography. Treaty Girl is for Haudenosaunee girls 💜
