Heartbreaking. I have deadly med allergies+chronic health issues, and every time I go to the hospital it feels like gambling. I can't count the times that a nurse has gotten ANGRY with me for asking the rude, argumentative, insubordinate, confrontational question: "What is in that injection?"

This is why we say a capitalist society can’t be trusted to ethically administer assisted dying. If it was considered unethical to suggest death to someone with terminal illness, why is it ok to do it to the disabled? Why are people having it pushed at them in lieu of treatment?

I think trying to convince R's they are hypocrites is a losing battle. They don't care about being intellectually honest- you can see this by how the message has flipped from 'we need guns to protect against our gov!' to 'well he had a gun, the agents of the gov needed to protect themselves!'

Currently working on an article about how AI is dangerous to homeschooled kids in particular and it's chilling how happily chatgpt will participate in abuse if you use the 'right' words.
